Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the 2011 New Zealand Alpaca Auction.
Winning Bidders
- All bids will be exclusive of GST.
- Payment will be invoiced through the AANZ office during the month following the end of the auction.
- Will be responsible for any veterinary costs associated with ultrasound scans if they are requested.
- Upon confirmation of pregnancy, will be provided with an A4 Registration form, completed and signed by owner of male.
- No costs are to be borne by stud male owner.
- Unless owner of male specifically offers mobile matings, it is understood that the female will go to the stud male for the winning service.
- Unless specifically stated to the contrary as a condition, the time limit for the female to be serviced will be one year from the date of auction.
- Service cannot be utilized for any pre-booked matings.
- Service cannot be used in an embryo transfer programme.
Any individual conditions by owners of males will be listed on the relevant web page.
Responsibilities for Owner of Stud Male
- The male to be AANZ certified and guaranteed fertile
- The male to be available for service at a mutually acceptable time within a 1 year timeframe following the auction.
- If mobile services and live birth guarantees are offered they should be stated as conditions on the relevant bid site, together with relevant costs involved
- A4 Registration form, correctly signed, to be provided to owner of female once pregnancy has been confirmed.
- If the nominated animal is unavailable due to illness, death or sale a service to an equivalent male will be provided. *
*Should the last condition not be available, a full refund will be made to the bidder.
Bidding to start 27th May, 2011 and finish 12th June, 2011. The New Zealand Alpaca Association reserves the right to withdraw auctions or bids and is not responsible for the actions of either party during a mating.
